Porter, Receiver, and Bar Prep Lead

The Merchant Hotel is seeking an experienced Porter, Receiver, and Bar Prep Lead to join our exciting team with multiple venues. This position will be a direct report to the Director of Food and Beverage and be responsible for ensuring daily cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities, receiving and proper organization of all deliveries, and completion of daily bar prep items such as fresh juices, garnishes, syrups, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be an integral part of the operations of an exciting new development. A qualified applicant will possess excellent time management skills, have extraordinary standards for cleanliness and organization, and be able to follow constant feedback and direction. Fluency is English and Spanish is a plus. Also an interest in contributing ingredients and preparation to high quality bar programs is certainly welcomed.

This will be a daytime position starting at or around 9am and working until our bars open at 5pm for a total of 40 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday. If you think this sounds like a good fit for you we would love to hear from you and why you think this position is for you.
