Imagine working in the heart of scenic Staunton, Virginia, at the historic Blackburn Inn and Conference Center. We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to maintain our beautiful, 19th-century property and uphold our reputation for excellence.

What Youll Do

You will lead our housekeeping team, ensuring our guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas are always in pristine condition. You'll inspect work performance, train new team members, oversee inventory, and ensure that all housekeeping tasks are completed to perfection.

Being organized will be your secret weapon, as you'll oversee the closing of floors, maintain key control systems, and ensure that daily assignments are thoroughly completed and updated in our property management system.

Who You'll Work With

Youll be leading a diverse team, holding them accountable for their performance, while still ensuring a friendly and courteous work environment. Youll also collaborate with other department heads and interact directly with our guests all while being stationed in the unique and charming town of Staunton.

What We Expect

Were looking for someone with at least 2 years of housekeeping management experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. A flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays, is a must. Above all, we value a genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
