We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to support the culinary program at one of the countrys most prestigious executive campusesserving global business leaders, top foundations, and civic changemakers. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a professional, mission-driven team delivering exceptional food in a dynamic and structured environment.

About the Role:

As Sous Chef, youll work closely with the Executive Chef to manage daily operations across:

  • MondayFriday a la carte lunch and bar menu service (evenings until 7:00 PM)
  • Weekends focused on high-level private events, banquets, and corporate receptions

This role requires a balanced approachsupporting consistency during weekday service while executing high-end weekend events with precision and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing all kitchen operations, including prep, service, and event execution
  • Help lead and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a positive and productive work culture
  • Support menu planning and execution for lunch service and private events
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
  • Assist in managing food and labor costs to support overall kitchen profitability
  • Collaborate with FOH managers and event teams for smooth, successful service
  • Step in as acting chef in the absence of the Executive Chef

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef upscale dining or event-driven environments
  • Well-rounded skills in both a la carte service and banquet production
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and calm under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends for event execution
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred
