Position Summary: This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the resort's daily operations. As a pivotal component of the resorts functionality, you will engage in a diverse range of tasks across the entire mountain. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of common spaces in the base area.
- Keep bathrooms clean and well stocked.
- Removal and disposal of trash and recycling from lodges and outdoor areas while following environmental guidelines for waste disposal, recycling, and resource management.
- Maintain function of lodge areas (making/stoking fireplaces, clearing tables, resetting eating areas).
- Conduct snow removal and ice control around the base area, including walkways, decks, and entryways.
- Assist in the proper routing of snow and ice runoff, ensuring adequate erosion and sediment control.
- Daily set up and take down of fencing and ski racks.
- Operate and help maintain resort vehicles and equipment, such as trucks, snowblowers, hand tools, some power tools, and utility carts.
- Ensure proper storage and regular servicing of tools and machinery.
- Aid guests as needed, helping with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as ski patrol, guest services, and lift ops to ensure efficient operations.
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors or relevant department heads promptly.
- Participate in sustainability initiatives and contribute to minimizing the resort's environmental impact.
- Passionate about supporting Eldoras Play Forever initiative, promoting environmental protection, and community engagement.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Flexible schedule & the ability to work weekends/holidays
- Valid US Drivers license & minimum age 21 years to drive company vehicles
- Ability to pass MVR check by company standards.
- Ability to perform duties with limited supervision
Physical Demands:
- Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling& prolonged standing
- Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment
- Concentrated reading and writing
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Extended periods of outdoor exposure
- Extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure
- Variation in temperature from hot to cold
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $19+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
- Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.
