Job Summary Details:

The GMP Cleanroom Cleaner position is responsible for supporting cleaning and disinfection activities in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) spaces, equipment, and associated areas used in the production of Master and Working Cell Banks, as well as facilities involved in Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing and final product filling. This role is based at a leading biopharmaceutical facility in Pearland, TX (77047) and ensures all activities comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to maintain a sterile and compliant environment.

Schedule: Open availability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed, including weekends or holidays based on production and/or business demands.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience cleaning or sanitizing controlled environments such as hospitals, pharmaceutical or medical device facilities, or food manufacturing and processing plants required and on the job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) areas, equipment, and facilities to meet cGMP standards.
  • Follow aseptic techniques and adhere to cleaning schedules for controlled environments.
  • Prepare and use cleaning solutions as per protocols, ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and monitor cleaning supplies, reporting shortages or discrepancies.
  • Participate in pre-audit walkthroughs to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Clean floors, walls, and equipment using prescribed methods and tools.
  • Support documentation of cleaning activities, including reports on non-conformances or deviations.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to meet operational goals.
