Job description

Tru by Hilton Traverse City is seeking associates to join our housekeeping team! A proven track record of reliability, attention to detail, and customer service are a must. Experience is not necessary, but a plus. Saturday & Sunday availability required.

Major Function:

Responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement, and supply of guest rooms to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction possible

Essential Function:

Provide the highest level of service to the guest at all times
Ensure guest satisfaction by providing a clean, sanitary, and inviting hotel room for the guest
Clean rooms following the company housekeeping guidelines within an eight hour day while maintaining established standards
Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests
Empty and clean vacuums
Keep cart stocked, neat, clean and orderly
Report room status throughout the day; Complete assignment sheets
Repeated bending, stooping and lifting/moving weights up to 30 lbs. as well as prolonged standing/walking
Provide assistance to other Hotel Associates to contribute to the smooth operation of the department and hotel
All other duties as assigned by a supervisor, of which you are capable
