Lead Food Server/Food Server

We are seeking an energetic, experienced Full-time Lead Food Server/Food Server to join our dynamic dining services team at Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers located in Brooklyn Park, MN! For over 15 years, Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake has ensured seniors have every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. With 142 independent living, assisted living, memory care apartments and 64 long-term and transitional care suites, our Brooklyn Park campus is a vibrant, established community where it's easy to establish positive connections.

This position is a combination of Lead Food Server shifts and Food Server shifts. Candidates must be available to work both shift times listed. Lead position will be scheduled 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Food Server shifts will be scheduled 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This position will be scheduled to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

A Lead Food Server/Food Server is responsible for:

• Serves meals to tenants
• Clear dishes and performs cleaning duties
• Performs related nutrition service duties as assigned
• Assists with oversite of shift while in the Lead position
• Display a positive attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum one year previous server experience is required. Previous Lead experience is preferred.

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus, and production sheets.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to communicate through oral and written skills.
• Able to meet physical demands of position.

Pay Range: $18.44 - $25.03/hour, depending on experience
