Job Duties
Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) - No CDL or Highway Technician 1 (HT1) - Class A or Class B CDL With Tanker Endorsement - Cuyahoga County - West Side (Cleveland) - PNs: 20057146, 20057083, 20056139, 20057236, 20057054
The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet the minimum qualifications.
What You Will Do:
You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure if you are not already a licensed CDL holder.
You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing.
You will perform snow & ice operations.

Qualifications
Highway Maintenance Worker 1:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing, & speaking common English vocabulary. Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
Highway Technician 1:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
