There is an open position in the Georgetown Public Schools.POSITION: Custodian, NightLOCATION: Georgetown Middle High SchoolSUPERVISOR: Director of Operations, Senior Custodian and PrincipalANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per contract.JOB DESCRIPTIONKeep assigned area clean and neat at all times; sweeping all rooms, vacuuming all carpeted areas, cleaning all bathrooms and fountain facilities, dust mopping corridors, washing and waxing as needed, cleaning of windows. Clean immediate area outside of school sidewalks, stairs and grounds. Snow removal and sand sidewalk areas as needed. Ability to complete minor maintenance repairs. Report necessary repairs to and respond to special requests by the Principal, Director of Buildings and Grounds and or Head Custodian within the range of custodial duties. QUALIFICATIONSMust be in good physical condition; able to lift and move furniture as required to perform cleaning of all assigned areas.Experience with commercial cleaning products and commercial floor and carpet maintenance.Must be able to work with faculty and follow oral/written directions as required.Must have basic skills with hand tools and the ability to do minor maintenance tasks as needed. Previous public school work experience preferred.Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues.SALARY & BENEFITSEligible for health insuranceContractual sick days and personal days
