School Lunch Program Food Service Worker - Two Positions Available

Essex North Shore is seeking two School Lunch Program Food Service Workers to join the team next school year. The Food Service Worker will assist with the preparation of school lunch and breakfast, serve lunch and breakfast, maintain inventory and provide end-of-day cleaning and sanitation. Hours are Monday through from Friday 10 am to 2 pm. The start date of this position is August 25, 2025.

• Satisfactory CORI, SAFIS and SORI
• Bilingual preferred
• ServeSafe certification
• Food Allergen Awareness Certification
• Proficient in food service prep and competent knife skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience working with teens a plus

This is a school year position which follows the school calendar.

The position is part of the collective bargaining agreement with AFSCME 93, Local 245 and the Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District
