Job DetailsBar Lumiere a new restaurant in Cobble Hill is looking for an experienced Head Bartender. We are hoping to find a career oriented leader with strong bartender and server experience who loves to work collaboratively to ensure the highest levels of service, product and ambiance. This is a 5 day a week tipped and hourly paid position. Shifts on the floor, behind the bar, prep and admin will be required.
Bar Lumiere is a hyper seasonal Brooklyn restaurant led by a Michelin starred Chef that celebrates local farmers, distillers, brewers, and artisans. We are looking for a bartender who can match the vibe. Someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and enjoys creating menus for dinner, brunch and late night parties. Who is all about guest service and creating an inclusive and comfortable bar.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 to 2 years of active bartender experience
- Classic Cocktail knowledge along with the creativity for R&D and Cocktail Development
- Ability to work other parts of service apart from the creation of beverages at the bar
- Positive Attitude
- Careful attention to detail
- A sense of urgency and strong communication skills
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and calmly under pressure
- Punctuality
- Energy, organization skills, and ambition
- Team-working skills
- Fine-dining service experience is a plus
- Open to feedback
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs if necessary
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
