Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading provider in facilities management, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication skills, excellent maintenance skills, and effective time management abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location: Plymouth, MI

Pay Range: $30/hr. - $35/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling.
  • Handle work orders and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance of facilities and respond to service requests.
  • Work independently with limited supervision to complete tasks efficiently.

What's Needed?

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in building maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with applicable experience.
  • EPA 608 License or NFPA 70E preferred.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
