Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant setting and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety protocols. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for dishes.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all meals meet dietary specifications.
Support the culinary team in maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Strong skills in meal preparation and food preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
