Cha Cha Tang is seeking a Floor Manager/Sommelier to join our team.

Qualifications: Sommelier / Floor Manager

Certified Level 2 Sommelier

A college degree or equivalent experience.

A minimum of three years of experience working as floor manager/ sommelier in a fastpaced, high volume, fine dining, or casual fine dining restaurant.

An unparalleled commitment to hospitality and customer service.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.

Sound knowledge of service and food.

Strong background in beverages, specifically wine.

Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to multitask.

Willingness to grow and learn.

DOH and Tips Certificate.

Knowledge of Solidos is a plus

Duties:

Work closely with the General Manager and Beverage Director to oversee beverage

purchasing, inventory control, and staff education.

Work closely with the management team to oversee daily front-of-house restaurant

operations.

Able to assist with evaluating, and motivating staff, hiring and scheduling.

Conduct and or attend pre-meal meetings.

Open and close restaurants and complete accompanying tasks efficiently, accurately, and with a keen eye for detail.

Handle service opportunities in a personal and timely manner.

Abide by and uphold company policies and standards as well as state sanitations/health regulations.

Work in accordance with our mission statement, always promoting Mercer Street Hospitalitys values.

Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment.

Willing to close late nights and weekends.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($72,500.00 - $85,000.00)
