Full Time Night Custodian / Spare Bus Driver

Spruce Mountain Elementary School

(8 hours per night for 260 nights per year / 5 nights per week)

Description:

This position is a full time 8 hour night cleaning position. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a section of the Elementary School designated to them. Custodial duties include but are not limited to: general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, floorcare, moving furniture, etc.. Hours for the position are: during the school year 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and during the summer and workshop days 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Employee may be asked to fill in to drive a bus route occasionally as well.

Qualifications:

• CDL B license with S endorsement - will train the right candidate, and candidate will have 6 months to obtain license if doesnt already have said license.
• Obtain a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE)
• Pre employment physical and drug test are required
• Knowledge of custodial duties and maintenance is a plus, but is not required
