FRONT DESK AGENT DUTIES

Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs
Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly
Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role
Answering calls and queries related to potential bookings
Navigating in property management system and making entries accordingly
Performs cash accounting duties such as preparing bank deposits, counting cash, and ensuring cash drawers are balanced

FRONT DESK AGENT REQUIREMENTS

Possess a basic knowledge of computers and simple database for the purpose of data entry and making reservations
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform many tasks at the same time
Understand the various tasks that go into running a hotel
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of safety and security procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve problems and diffuse tense situations
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests and assist corporate staff in ensuring accurate record-keeping.

This position is in person, requires reliable transportation, and is available for both full and part-time applicants. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shift will likely be 13 hour days on the weekend and 3 or 4 pm to close week days. Applicants must be drug free and able to pass a background check.
