Purpose of the Cardroom & Bar Server:

The Cardroom Server delivers quality food and beverage items to our guests in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all Running Aces alcohol and I.D policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to cheerfully greet customers and take food and beverage orders.
• Ability to enter orders into our POS system.
• Assist in the preparation of hot and cold drinks.
• Check drinks and food for completeness and accuracy.
• Ability to handle payments and make correct change.
• Deliver requested items to the customer in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work area while helping co-workers with a variety of tasks including but not limited to emptying garbage, cleaning counters, floors, surrounding areas, tables and more.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years previous alcohol serving experience required.
• Must pass alcohol training provided by Running Aces.
• Previous Cash handling experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members
• This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of company policy and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
• Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.

Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions:

• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 35lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending and lifting, pushing and pulling. This is a very active position.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts in a crowded, noisy, and occasionally humid environment
