- Producing and preparing food according to menus, recipes and portions established by Chef.
- Must be knowledgeable and possess ability to operate applicable kitchen equipment, with working knowledge of food items.
- Maintains proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food, serving food and clean-up.
- Adhere to specifications and guidelines established by chef.
- Set-up and break-down station in orderly fashion and transport product from cafe serving area.
- Ensure quality and visual presentation of food.
- Assist other associates to ensure all kitchen duties are completed within given time constraints.
- Assist in other areas of the operation as needed.
Skills
- Strong cooking and knife skills required.
- Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
