We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cafe Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently, maintaining a clean and welcoming front-of-house area, and providing excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and answer any questions about the menu or cafe offerings

Accurately handle cash, credit, and mobile payments using a POS system

Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of shifts

Prepare basic beverages or assist in food service when required (depending on cafe operations)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, register area, and dining space

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient cafe operations

Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly

Replenish front-of-house supplies as needed (napkins, straws, etc.)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred (especially in food service or hospitality)

Basic math and computer skills

Friendly and professional demeanor

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Dependable, punctual, and a team player
