Head Housekeeper / Grounds Keeper - Wilder Inn

The Wilder Inn is a charming 18-room boutique hotel in the heart of Ephraim, WI, part of the Island Lavender and Wilder Farms family. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality, meticulous attention to detail, and creating a welcoming, peaceful retreat for our guests. Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented individual to oversee housekeeping operations and maintain the beauty of our grounds. This is a leadership role that combines guest service excellence with property careensuring our rooms sparkle, common areas shine, and outdoor spaces remain inviting. Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping: Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring quality and consistency in cleaning and presentation. Clean guest rooms and common areas to our high standards. Manage daily housekeeping schedules and coordinate room readiness with front desk. Inspect rooms before guest check-ins and after check-outs. Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and linens inventory. Grounds & Maintenance: Maintain landscaping, gardens, and outdoor seating areas. Perform light maintenance tasks and minor repairs. Ensure walkways, parking areas, and entrances are safe and well-kept. Coordinate with outside vendors for larger repairs or seasonal upkeep. General: Work closely with hotel management to ensure smooth operations. Uphold safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards. Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests. Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; leadership experience preferred. Basic knowledge of landscaping and light maintenance. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Schedule & Compensation: Flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability required.
