Housekeeping Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in hotel rooms or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Clean carpets and upholstery using appropriate techniques and equipment. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Follow established housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately. Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively, including carpet cleaners and vacuum cleaners. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Experience in housekeeping is a plus but not required.
