Janitor

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our manufacturing team as a Janitor. In this role you will perform a variety of custodial tasks to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities include:

Gather and empty trash throughout office and manufacturing facility

Clean restrooms, offices, break rooms and public areas

Sweep, mop, scrub and/ or vacuum floors

Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies throughout the facility

Complete cleaning and maintenance logs

Respond to emergency situations, perform cleaning as needed

Perform other custodial duties as required

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

1 year of janitorial experience in industrial or manufacturing environment preferred

Able to stand and walk throughout 10-hour shift

Able to reach, push, pull and lift throughout 10-hour shift

Able to regularly climb ladders and walk up and down staircases

Willing and able to follow all safety rules and PPE requirements

Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds multiple times throughout shift

Occasionally work in outdoor environments in a variety of weather conditions

Able to work independently

Able to speak and understand English, Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese a plus
