Customer Service Specialist

A client of ours in manufacturing industry located in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their orders are processed accurately and their needs are met efficiently. You will act as a crucial link between the customers and the factory, managing the entire order lifecycle from entry to delivery.This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Order Management:
  
  
  • Promptly and accurately enter and audit all customer purchase orders.
    
    
  • Act as the liaison between the customer and the factory, following up to ensure timely order processing for production and delivery.
    
    
  • Enter customer forecasts into the system and communicate any needs to the planning and sales teams.
    
    
  • Monitor and maintain customer order status, sales history, and forecasts.
    
    
• Customer Support & Problem Resolution:
  
  
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests, providing general sales support and basic product information.
    
    
  • Research and resolve customer problems or concerns, providing recommendations for a resolution.
    
    
  • Gather and prepare complaint information to initiate requests for return authorizations, and credit/debit memos.
    
    
• Data & Documentation:
  
  
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and quality management systems.
    
    
  • Maintain and organize files for customer pricing and supporting documents.
    
    
  • Keep all sales-related files, order statuses, and purchase order paper files up-to-date in the company's business system.
    
    
• Team Collaboration:
  
  
  • Refer complex sales inquiries to the appropriate person for follow-up.
    
    
  • Provide support by maintaining the workflow in your area of responsibility during the absence of other team members.
