STARBUCKS BARISTA
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness.
- Assist customers with product suggestions and special orders.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and food items according to company standards.
- Operate equipment such as espresso machines, blenders, ovens, and registers.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and visual appeal of the Starbucks area and equipment.
- Ensure proper temperatures during preparation, display, and storage.
- Stock, rotate, and organize inventory to ensure freshness and compliance.
- Perform receiving duties and maintain accurate department records.
- Complete daily logs, production charts, and other required paperwork.
- Implement promotional and seasonal displays and ensure compliance with labeling laws and company policies.

- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Operate equipment such as coffee machines, blenders, ovens, and pallet jacks
Educational Requirements:
- Food safety knowledge certification preferred
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required
Other Requirements:
- Must comply with grooming and dress code standards
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good attendance is required
- Exposure to refrigerated conditions (around 35F) and freezer (-20F)

Pay transparency language:
The pay range is $16.50 to $18.00 per hour , but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
