Job DetailsSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS : Must be 21 years of age, at least 1- year of host/restaurant experience, Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other associates.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE : California Food Handler Health Card, Valid RBS Server Certificate
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Organizes, cleans and maintains host station, side stations and proper storage areas and all supplies that support daily duties.
- Maintain guest focus while performing duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using [reservation system, e.g., OpenTable].
- Accurately quote wait times and provide updates to guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure tables are properly turned and seated efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information.
- Follow directions and ask questions for clarification
- Assist in light cleaning or organizing duties as needed.
- Associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

Work is performed in a hotel restaurant on the property. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature. Must be able to work in an indoor environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.25 - $21.00) plus tips
