Job Description
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for handling bulk laundry tasks, primarily focusing on lifting and sorting clean linens. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of the hospital by ensuring all laundry tasks are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
Unwrap and unload clean linens.
Load laundry carts using inventory carts with strong attention to detail.
Push heavy carts throughout the hospital and deliver products.
Pick up dirty linens, approximately 20 pounds, and toss them into bins.
Essential Skills
General labor experience.
Proficiency in janitorial duties and housekeeping.
Experience in environmental services.
Strong cleaning abilities.
Ability to stand and perform manual labor for 8+ hours a day.
Basic English proficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled hospital setting. You will work Monday to Friday with rotating weekends from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and may occasionally work until 5:00 PM or later when busy. The hospital provides a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring a positive work experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
