Summary
Reports to the Director/Manager. Is responsible for developing a clinical education curriculum for all Employer Services clinical staff as well as clinical training of the clinical staff to include CMA/RMA/CCMA/CCA within all employer services locations. Conducts train the trainer classes, training lead clinical staff to ensure staff are trained to provide quality care. Is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, instructing and evaluating staff needs and implementing a training plan. Serves as a resource to staff.

Provides clinical training of CMA/RMA/CCMA/CCA and any other clinical positions in employer services by conducting training and providing group individual instruction by:
- Develop a successful education program for all employer services clinical staff.
- Facilitating needs analysis for staff to ensure that educational needs are identified and are the focal point for program development and enhancements; also ensuring that desired outcomes are met.
- Planning, designing and coordinating training, education programs and/or instructional materials to meet the customer's needs.
- Designing, preparing, evaluating and updating lesson plans, lectures, tests, materials, programs and courses to meet regulatory agency requirements and changing needs.
- Providing clinical training of CMA/RMA/CCMA/CCA by conducting training and providing group and individual instruction.
- Conducting train the trainer class, training the lead clinical staff who would go back to their sites and skills validate new employees to ensure that the staff is providing quality care.
- Preparing necessary administrative/support materials (such as program schedules, attendance rosters, evaluations and summaries, etc.).
- Monitoring the staff's progress/performance and providing instruction and counseling as necessary; also making appropriate recommendations to the department leadership.
- Serving as an educational resource for various departments, committees, Beacon Health System, Physician groups and referral organizations.
- Obtaining and maintaining certifications necessary to perform DOT testing, TB trainer, BAT, CPR, NIOSH Trainer, and tester for personal protective equipment (i.e., face masks for infection control, etc. or other certifications required by the organization.
- Oversight as administrator/expert for training, (i.e., Department of Transportation Regulated Medical Waste Administrator), Netlearning and other training requirements deemed necessary by department.
- Coordinate with the office coordinator(s) when workflows needs to be updated.
Maintains professional knowledge, skills and competence in areas of responsibility by:
- Maintaining all certifications necessary
- Maintaining professional affiliations as appropriate.
- Reading current professional literature and journals.
Contributes to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department by:
- Assisting in the development of educational guidelines and material
- Participating in community activities as requested.
- Completing other job-related assignments and special projects as directed.
- Continuation of CBL education

Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:
- Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
- Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
- Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
- Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
- Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime/weekends in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Education and Experience
- The level of knowledge, skills and abilities of a certified MA. At least three years of previous MA experience related to employer services; certification is preferred

Working Conditions
