Job Description

Milton-Freewater Oregon is a multi-cultural community located in the northeast corner of the state within ten miles of Walla Walla Washington. The Milton-Freewater Unified School District is now taking applications for the following position.

Substitute Cook - District Wide

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrate ability to assist in the supervision of student helpers in the food service program.

Knowledge and experience in food preparation, food service, and safe food handling.

Knowledge and experience in appropriate methods of safe kitchen operations.

Ability to work in a cooperative, positive manner with students, staff, parents, and community.

GED or high school diploma required.

Ability to obtain an Oregon State Food Handlers Card.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Including, but not limited to, constant moving about, including bending, stooping, reaching and kneeling. Employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.

COMPENSATION:

3-5 hours per day, on-call substitute. Salary is $15.76 per hour.
