Pro Prep Cook Needed for 3-Day Event Prep - Starts Tomorrow!

Our large community organization is in immediate need of a professional, high-energy prep/production cook for a 3-day, high-volume food prep session in Reno. We are preparing meals for a large-scale, off-grid event and need a skilled cook to help our kitchen team get everything ready for transport.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for a catering or banquet cook who is available to start immediately.

Three full days, starting tomorrow, (8/18). Must be available for the half or entire duration. Expected hours are approximately 10 AM - 6 PM daily.

Your Role:
Work directly with our Kitchen Lead to execute a pre-set prep list.
Perform high-volume vegetable and protein prep, batch cooking of sauces and grains, and other production tasks.
Help organize and store prepped food for safe transport.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

You Are:
An experienced cook with a background in catering, banquets, or other high-volume production.
Fast, efficient, and highly organized with strong knife skills.
Knowledgeable about food safety and proper storage protocols.
A positive team player who can jump into an existing team and make an immediate impact.
Reliable, professional, and ready to start tomorrow morning.
