About Elliott Aster Elliott Aster offers refined dinners in a beautiful dining room and a lively waterfront patio for aperitivos and cocktails. Chef Lee Wolens menu features handmade pasta, pristine seafood, and wood-grilled steaks, with a focus on warm, thoughtful hospitality.
Food Runners Responsibilities
Deliver dishes from kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with polish
Place each dish in front of the correct guest, presenting it with care and consistency
Knowledgeably but briefly describe dishes to guests
Assist servers in maintaining tables, clearing plates, and resetting for the next course
Communicate effectively with both BOH and FOH teams to ensure smooth service
Anticipate guest needs and provide support to servers and managers as needed
Handle allergies and dietary restrictions with attentiveness and accurate communication
Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations and dining areas
Consistently follow all sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards

Qualifications
Weekend availability (FridaySunday) required
2+ years of restaurant experience preferred, ideally in fine dining or high-volume upscale service
Team-oriented, dependable, and attentive to detail
Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic
Physical Requirements
Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Stand and walk for an entire shift, moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
