Janitor

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Janitor for a large, well-known client in Itasca, IL. As a Janitor for SURESTAFF you will be an essential part of our clients core operations. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Janitor Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required
• During downtime, work out on the facility's warehouse floor
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Janitor Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is a plus
