Job Details About Us:The Ground is a vibrant, community-focused cafe known for great coffee, beautiful plants, and a growing food program. Were looking for a committed kitchen team member to join our small, fast-paced back-of-house crew as we continue to expand our offerings and evolve our menu.

Who Were Looking For:This role is perfect for someone whos ready to be hands-on in all parts of the kitchenfrom prep and plating to quality control, inventory checks, and cleanup. Youll be working closely with a small team, so reliability, communication, and the right attitude are everything.
You should be someone who:
* Shows up on time and ready to workevery time
* Is eager to learn, grow, and contribute creatively to menu development
* Can multi-task and stay cool during a busy rush
* Takes cleanliness seriously (both personal station and shared spaces)
* Doesnt shy away from dishes, deep cleaning, or restocking
* Understands that every job in the kitchen matters
* Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
* Has kitchen or food service experience (Ideally at least 1 year)

What You'll Do:
* Prep and finish menu items (think toast plates, pastry finishing, light cooking)
* Assist with line service and order fulfillment
* Perform stock checks and help with inventory
* Keep kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe
* Pitch in with dishwashing and sanitation duties
* Collaborate with team and managers to improve systems and menu items
* Provide feedback and take initiative during slower shifts
