Customer Service Specialist Position Duties & Responsibilities 1) Customer Service Manage incoming calls and customer service inquiries Order entry Procure payment for COD customers Provide accurate, valid and complete information to customer using the right methods/tools Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, follow-up to ensure resolution as needed 2. Sales Support Write up orders (based on knowledge of products and procedures, making sure the sales rep has included all information needed) Revise orders as needed: working with and providing accurate information to purchasing and dispatch; contacting customers if needed Provide sales rep any and all information of issues, concerns or special requests from their customer Gather costs from vendors for special orders as requested by sales rep. Work with purchasing to acquire knowledge of how to do this independently. 3.
