Looking for a Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team. This restaurant offers an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to grow and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Position Summary:The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to manage all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes supervising line staff, ensuring consistency and quality of food, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and assisting with menu development and inventory control. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and passionate about culinary arts.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee and support daily kitchen operations and staff
Maintain high culinary standards in food preparation and presentation
Collaborate on seasonal menu development and special events
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and cost control
Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring kitchen staff
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
Strong understanding of kitchen management and culinary techniques
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen compliance standards
