Hosts greet residents, family members, guests, and/or staff with a friendly demeanor; assist with seating and monitor food service according to dining standards to assure a pleasurable dining experience. The successful candidate will be able to handle multitasking, problem solving, and always being a friendly face.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required:
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make independent decisions.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgable with technology
- English language proficiency
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in a dining service environment.
- Certification, or ability to obtain certification, in BASSET.

More than a luxury residence, The Mather is in an enviable walkable, urban neighborhood, close to the Metro and all the DC area has to offer. Opened in March 2024, The Mather includes 293 independent living apartment homes, as well as assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing, along with multiple restaurants, a fitness center, art studio, gardens and more.
