Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED Preferred.

Must be able to read and write English in order to identify written chemical hazards and follow safety guidelines.

Must be able to follow all oral and written instructions in English

Required to pass all safety courses

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures

Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance

Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment

Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.

Ability to make simple calculations

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction

Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)

Must have the capacity to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations

Manual desterity and ability to work under pressure is desirable

Experience:

Two years experience in custodial services preferred Description Primary Purpose:

Responsible for on-site leadership of campus custodial operations. Establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Application Procedure WISD INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY!
