Dietary Cook I - PRN

Assistant and performs cooking duties in the food and nutritional service area following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements.

• Prepares all breakfast food items for cafeteria. Serves inpatient breakfast tray line.
• Assembles and prepares all fried foods. Assist with preparation of specialty sandwiches.
• Prepares all bread, potato side items, and gravy.
• Washes all items needed in preparing foods. Assist cook in delivering food items to cafeteria.

Education and Experience:

• Prefer High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Prefer 1-year experience in institutional food service cooking
• Prefer Diet Technician certification
