Job Description

General Summary

Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility by performing general housekeeping duties

Properly dispose of trash, including corrugated boxes, using trash compactors

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and empty trash in assigned warehouse and office areas

Operate corrugate baler and trash compactor, including banding completed bales

Dispose of trash and corrugated boxes appropriately

Report safety or hazardous problems to supervisor/management

Assist with special housekeeping projects as needed

Experience / Education

Knowledge of and ability to perform custodial work

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

Ability to effectively manage time to complete assigned tasks

Physical Demands

Lift, carry, or move products up to 50 lbs

Walk continuously on concrete floors

Grip, push, pull, and perform fine hand manipulation continuously

Twist or bend torso frequently

Handle tools frequently (utility knife, push bin)

Work Conditions

Continuous work in a temperature-controlled building

Occasional exposure to dust

Occasional work in a cold environment
