General Overview:

Runners are responsible for ensuring guests food is brought out to them with accuracy, the proper temperature, and within a timely manner.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new arrivals.
  • Reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure a polished dining experience.
  • Refill water glasses and offer water upon guests' arrival.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as providing highchairs, extra napkins, or other needs.
  • Proactively address customer needs and communicate feedback to servers or managers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area by promptly clearing debris and addressing spills.
  • Sweep and mop floors, empty trash bins, and dispose of waste as required.
  • Replenish tabletop supplies, including napkins and condiments, to ensure readiness for service.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables, assisting servers during busy periods.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Work closely with hosts/hostesses to manage seating arrangements and optimize customer flow.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a seamless and efficient dining experience for guests.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene throughout the dining area.

Requirements:

  • May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to perform and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to approach their work with a sense of ownership and urgency.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
