Bread Clerk (BOH)

If you enjoy baked bread you will love our fresh new Baked Breads Department at our Melville Uncle Giuseppe's Store! We have an immediate need for a PT Bread Clerk (Back of House) to make bread dough and package baked breads.

Responsibilities

• Make dough according to our company bakery recipes
• Package baked breads for customer sales
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
• Display our freshly baked breads in an appealing counter display
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with the NYS Standards as well as QA standards
• Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spills
• Maintain and properly use all department equipment as require
• Rotate product to ensure freshness
• Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
• Must be able to speak, read and communicate in the English language
