Busser

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for maintaining a clean restaurant, both inside and out. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Part Time, On Site Position

Responsibilities:

• Monitor dining area, restrooms, restaurant perimeter, and outside patio (if applicable).
• Complete a perimeter check (front and back of restaurant).
• Pre-bus tables and booths.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and booths.
• Reset tables and booths.
• Inspect, clean, restock restroom as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors.
• Empty trash cans.
• Steam clean/hose out garbage cans.
• Maintain appropriate levels of products, restock as needed.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and back dock area.
• Assist and communicate with hosts, servers and other bussers.
• Inform host staff of table/booth status.
• Greet all guests as they walk through the restaurant.
• Thank guests as they are leaving.
• Assist guests with requests (if applicable), directions, etc.
• Move tables, chairs, and other furniture to accommodate guests as needed.
• Knowledge of all table numbers and station numbers.
• Perform all opening, running, and closing busser duties.
• Practice safety and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude.
• Understand performance criteria, holding themselves accountable through effective coaching and strong follow-through skills.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• No prior experience or training required.
