We are looking for the right person to assist the new Executive Chef to create memorable experiences for our members. Key Responsibilities/Requirements
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Assist in food production at off-site catered events
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the commissary kitchen and event stations
- Execute batch cooking, station set-up, and on-site finishing with precision
- Collaborate with chefs, event managers, and service staff to meet client expectations
- Food handlers certificate that meets local requirements
- Able to learn to input orders and manage inventory alongside the Executive Chef
- Understand garde manger and garnish setups and execute them consistently
- Growing a position under new leadership and new direction
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years in a sous chef or lead cook role
- Able to manage a busy kitchen and events without compromising quality
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Attitude to learn and create excellent culture for fellow cooks and service staff
- Heart for working with a variety of people and Mind to learn from those older or younger than yourself
- Flexible schedule with availability for weekends and holidays
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles is a plus
