Adept Environmental Services Technician I

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Services Technician I, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position involves using specialized cleaning agents and equipment to sanitize patient care areas, common spaces, and various facilities to meet health department standards.

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect assigned areas including walls, floors, furniture, medical equipment, restrooms, and patient rooms.
• Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety, ensuring minimal disruption to patients and staff.
• Follow established protocols and work under supervision while maintaining a quiet and timely workflow.
• Be flexible to train and rotate between multiple district facilities such as clinics, hospital, and administrative offices.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.

• Ability to learn and adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Strong reading comprehension and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 35 pounds, and occasional exposure to biohazardous materials. Normal vision, hearing, and speech capabilities are necessary, with or without corrective devices.
