Position: Sous Chef Who Were Looking For Weymouth Country Club is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, teamwork, and creativity from managing smooth daily operations to delivering exceptional banquet experiences for our members and guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen , inspires and coaches their team, and brings both precision and creativity to the culinary experience. Youll partner with the Executive Chef to ensure every dining experience exceeds expectations. What Youll Do

• Lead Banquet Execution Direct prep, timing, and flawless delivery of banquets and events.
• Oversee Daily Operations Maintain efficiency, organization, and cleanliness while upholding the highest food quality standards.
• Mentor & Manage Staff Guide and develop cooks and prep staff with clear expectations and strong leadership.
• Control the Numbers Support scheduling, prep lists, and food cost management to achieve budget goals.
• Stay Hands-On Lead by example in cooking, tasting, and maintaining consistency every day.
• Support the Executive Chef Collaborate on menu development, ordering, and ensuring culinary standards reflect the clubs vision.

Qualifications

• 35 years of culinary management experience (country club, hotel, or banquet background preferred).
• Proven ability to remain organized and calm under pressure.
• Strong skills in scheduling, labor management, and food cost control.
• Current food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
• A positive, team-first leader with a passion for food, service, and hospitality excellence.
