We are seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities
  1. Shift from 3:00pm - 11:pm
  2. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  3. Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  4. Inspect all arriving hotel rooms, public spaces, exteriors and back of house daily and make necessary adjustments
  5. Notify Maintenance Department of any rooms that need to be placed out-of-order for maintenance concerns.
  6. Possess a thorough understanding of the Property Management System
  7. Ensure the systems are updated accordingly based on daily operations
  8. Ensure availability as a liaison for the Front Desk regarding guest requests
  9. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  10. Maintain proper reporting for the department
  11. Maintain open door communication with employees
  12. Maintain supplies are stocked and ready for the following shifts (i.e. radios are charged, clipboards are prepared, and keys are available)
  13. Ensure team members have the proper supplies
  14. Assist in recruiting, training, guiding, managing and evaluating employees
  15. Ensure staff understands their job expectations before holding them accountable
  16. Attend relevant meetings
Core Competencies
  1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  2. Three (3) years related experience in hospitality industry preferred
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Collaborative spirit
  5. Ethical Conduct
  6. Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMS
  7. Positive Attitude
  8. Eye for Detail
  9. Problem solving abilities
