Role Summary: Completes housekeeping duties and leads the housekeeping staff in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper to ensure clean rooms in a welcoming environment. Swiftly responds to all guest inquiries in a way that fulfills their needs and the needs of the hotel. Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Key Outcomes:
- Performs duties of housekeeping attendant as necessary
- Monitors, verifies, and documents the inspection of rooms to ensure all standards are met
- Efficiently manages the daily schedule and assignment of housekeeping duties
- Provides direction and coaching to team members
- Maintains all inventories and ensures linen closets are appropriately maintained
- Supervises the completion of short notice requests for rooms, and prioritizes special cleaning requests
- Listens and sincerely apologizes when addressing guest problems, and promptly finds a solution
- Prepares requests for replacement assets and follows up to ensure completion
