Jack's Bar and Grill and AJ's Deli is hiring a part time Deli attendant This is a part time position with shifts available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 9a to 3:00p. If full time is desired, we have other shifts available in our sister restaurant, Jack's Bar and Grill
We are searching for an innovative, self motivated individual who likes to teach and make a difference in the lives of others for a unique position. We are looking for someone to work in our Deli to handle our growing catering business and walk in clients. This position would involve all working all stations, including the register, making the sandwiches, prepping and restocking.
Our kitchen also trains and supports people with developmental disabilities and others who are experiencing barriers to work. This Deli position will be working closely with people who are learning how to properly work in kitchens to gain employment in kitchens all over Denver. This position is typical of a BOH restaurant position - Standing most of the day, working in close quarters with others, being able to life 50+ lbs, etc. This position also has a lot of room to grow. We are looking for the right person who will eventually take on more responsibility and thus more pay.
We are family owned busy restaurant located in Northwest Arvada. We are fast paced and work hard. We appreciate our work family, but also know that time outside of work is important, so we keep our weeks to 40 hours with very little OT. We are a close family and support each other both at work and outside of work.
