SRV is hiring a Chef de Cuisine to add to their team.
At SRV (Serene Republic of Venice), were a Venetian-inspired restaurant located in Bostons South End. Our menu draws from the bacari found lined along the canals of Venice, serving cicchetti (small bites), housemade pastas, risotto cooked to order, and a rotating chefs selection of dishes known as the Arsenale.

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead daily kitchen operations in partnership with the Executive Chef. This role is a key leadership positionoverseeing sous chefs and the broader kitchen team, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution, and contributing creative dishes to the menu. The Chef de Cuisine will set the tone for pace, professionalism, and collaboration in the kitchen while mentoring staff and driving culinary standards.
What Youll Do
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
- Oversee, coach, and support sous chefs and the BOH team
- Maintain the highest standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization
- Contribute dishes and ideas to seasonal menus and specials
- Manage ordering, inventory, and product quality
- Be a consistent, motivating presence on the line during service
