Baker

We are a Bakery that has been around for more than 50 years. We are looking for hard working people that are not afraid to wake up early and can work hard, fast and efficient. Also, enjoy working in a team environment where we all pull together to make our legendary square donuts along with our many other products.

This is a Baker position, whose job is to follow the daily list for production. They will be making a variety of frostings along with brownies, cookies, bread, and seasonal items. This is a daytime baker position with the shift starting at 4am. Around holidays and busy times, the shift will adjust along with the schedule.

The position starts between $16-$20/hr. depending on experience. There is a 90-day review with a raise if the employee qualifies.

Baker responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Produce consistent and quality products to ensure customer satisfaction

-Follow recipes for each product and weigh all ingredients to achieve quality and

consistency

-Communicate with Production Manager about any needs, issues or questions

-Maintain clean and clutter free workstations by following all cleaning lists (daily,

weekly and monthly)

-Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or manager

Required Skills

-1-2 years of experience in a bakery setting

-Willing to learn and adopt new practices

-Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

-Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

-Willingness to work early morning shifts and Saturdays

-Willingness to work long hours during holidays

-Willingness to jump in where and when needed

-Understanding of food safety practices (food handlers permit)

Preferred Skills

-Good time-management skills

-3-4 years Baking Experience
