SUMMARY
Resort Greeter will ensure to welcome our residents, members/owners and resort guests with the highest level of professionalism, and all others who enter Juniper Preserve including dignitaries, visitors, employees and supporting personnel. Each guest will be met and given a respectful and courteous entrance.
Status: Full time, year round

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining a constant presence at the Welcome Cottage, must be visible to anyone entering the property. Be able to recognize and greet by name the full time
- Juniper Preserve Residents. Be familiar with the guest names scheduled to arrive at Juniper Preserve that day.
- Must check both Community Services email and calendars throughout the shift and respond when appropriate.
- Issues appropriate passes to the property.
- Gives directions to locations on the property
- Must be able to review the guest’s entry both in and out of the property with the equipment available within the Welcome Cottage.
- Report any unsafe or illegal activity to the appropriate management or law enforcement agency.
- Respond to any emergency, accident, alarm or disturbance to assure a safe and effective resolution to the incident.
- Provide newspaper, mail and package deliveries to the property residences during routine property patrols.
- Abides by all provisions of established safety programs.
- Interacts with members and guests in person and on the telephone in a helpful, cheerful and professional manner.
- Maintain radio communication with the Outside Service Team and the Golf Shop staff and other departments as needed throughout the service day.
- Communicate the arrival of any member, guest, vendor, inspector or other visitor to the appropriate department via radio, telephone or escort.
- Issue passes to pre-approved persons entering the property with the presentation of proper identification.
- Properly maintain all records, equipment and vehicles assigned to the Community Services Department.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area.
- Must maintain the privacy of all guests.
- Participate in training, administrative and education sessions as required.
- Report potential safety issues to the appropriate manager or supervisor and make a record of contact.
- Communicate supply orders as needed to Management.
- Abide by all provisions of established safety programs of the Safety Committee.
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Manages workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
- Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
- Supports and adheres to the CORE Values (ie. “The T.R.I.P.”), Service Fundamentals, and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by the Company.
- Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Community Services Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required

- Able to pass a drug test.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license with no recent alcohol related offenses or criminal record.

- Ability to effectively communicate information to both guests and staff.
- Ability to hold and comprehend phone conversations.

- Use of Google platform, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic Accounting skills.
- Ability to fully comprehend complex equipment instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Requires a valid Oregon Driver License.
TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
Local travel will be required often. Regional travel for training purposes may be occasionally required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Inside 50% of an 8-10 hour shift. Outside 50% of an 8-10 hour shift.
